VFX Central Stock FX 0.2.0

Supports Nuke versions with Python 3, PySide2 or PySide6, and the drop callback API.
Browser dragging was proven with the original one-asset prototype; test this
expanded beta in your Nuke version before production use.

INSTALL
1. Extract this ZIP into your .nuke folder, keeping the vfxcentral_stock_fx folder.
2. Add these two lines to your existing .nuke/menu.py (create it if absent):
import nuke
nuke.pluginAddPath('./vfxcentral_stock_fx')
3. The included folder already contains its menu.py.
4. Restart Nuke. Open the V icon on the left toolbar > Choose download folder.
5. Open the free-effects page from the same menu and drag a DRAG TO NUKE link
into the node graph. A cancellable progress window appears, then a Read node.

Existing valid MOV downloads are reused. One download at a time.
Project settings and color space are left to the artist.
Free imports accept only the bundled 17 Magic/Ember assets.
Paid imports accept only short-lived passes issued by VFX Central for owned MOV files.
Arbitrary download URLs and scripts are never accepted.
Plugin files do not include stock footage; the files download on demand.
Keep downloads with your project or relink Read nodes when transferring it.

PURCHASED EFFECTS
1. Install this 0.2.0 beta and restart Nuke.
2. Open My Library from the VFX Central menu and sign in on the website.
3. Open a purchased stock pack, or Browse all assets.
4. Click PREPARE FOR NUKE on an individual MOV, then drag DRAG TO NUKE
into the node graph within five minutes. ZIP archives and photos are not supported.
5. If the pass expires or the site restarts, prepare the effect again.
Paid imports require the updated website server; no separate plugin login is needed.
Access is checked both when preparing and when downloading.
Free downloads have a 1 GB limit; paid MOV downloads have a 16 GB safety limit.
Full browser-to-Nuke paid dragging still needs testing in the artist's Nuke version.
